Telehealth at Anderson Hills Pediatrics, Inc.

We understand that it is not always easy to bring your child into the office. For certain concerns, we offer pediatric telehealth visits so your child can be seen by one of our providers from home.

Telehealth appointments are available for select conditions only. If your child’s symptoms are appropriate for a virtual doctor visit, you can schedule an appointment through the patient portal or call our office at 513-232-8100, and we will help you determine if telehealth is a good option.

What You Need for Your Child’s Telehealth Visit

Your child’s online pediatric appointment can be completed using:

  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone
  • A camera and microphone
  • Chrome or Safari web browser

For the best experience, choose a quiet, private location with a strong internet connection.

Your child must be present during the telehealth visit so the provider can properly evaluate their symptoms.

Before Your Appointment

Prior to the visit, you will complete self-check-in through the Athena patient portal or by text to confirm your child’s demographic information and consent forms. This helps ensure your visit starts smoothly.

How to Join Your Telehealth Appointment

You will receive appointment reminders by text message and/or email. These reminders include the secure link needed to join your child’s virtual pediatric visit.

When it is time for your appointment:

  • Step 1: Click the visit link from the reminder on the device you plan to use.
  • Step 2: Enter the patient’s name, confirm identity, and review and agree to the terms.
  • Step 3: Turn on your camera and audio, keep the browser window open, and remain on the page. You will wait in the virtual waiting room until your provider joins and the visit begins. Occasionally there may be a short wait while the provider finishes with another patient. We appreciate your patience and will join your visit as soon as possible.

Important Information About Telehealth

Telehealth is a convenient option for many concerns, but it does have limitations. In some cases, the provider may recommend that your child be seen in the office for an in-person pediatric visit to complete the evaluation.
