About Dr. Leah Welty

Dr. Leah Welty grew up in Nashville, TN, and pursued her bachelor’s degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She continued her medical education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where she discovered her passion for primary care pediatrics. After completing her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 2014, she joined Anderson Hills Pediatrics, where she has been a dedicated member ever since.

Dr. Welty is deeply committed to building long-term relationships with her patients and their families. Her clinical interests include breastfeeding, developmental pediatrics, parenting, and ADHD. She treasures the opportunity to guide parents through the ups and downs of raising children, recognizing the unique influence she has in her patients’ lives, particularly during the pre-teen and teenage years.

Living in Anderson Township with her husband and their two sons and daughter, Dr. Welty is an active member of her community. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, camping, bird watching, and traveling. She also volunteers at her church and is an enthusiastic supporter of FC Cincinnati. Dr. Welty feels truly blessed to contribute to the health and well-being of her patients and cherishes the relationships she builds with each family she serves.
