About Dr. Pamela Lachniet:
Dr. Pamela Lachniet was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. After graduating from Calvin College (now Calvin University), she attended Vanderbilt University, earning her medical degree and a PhD in Biochemistry. She moved to Cincinnati to complete her residency in Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and then took a position in the Emergency Department, where she worked for 13 years. In 2013, she pursued a long-standing interest by returning to training with a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She subsequently had a dual appointment in Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine before joining Anderson Hills Pediatrics in 2016.
At Anderson Hills Pediatrics, Dr. Lachniet specializes in pediatrics and pediatric sports medicine. She enjoys building relationships with children and their families and feels privileged to be a part of their lives. She loves to learn and is constantly learning new things from her patients. She wants to promote physical activity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle in her patients and is here to support them through injuries when they happen so that they can return to active play. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, gardening, and spending time with her daughter.
