About Dr. Remi Lawrence-Hylton:
Dr. Lawrence-Hylton grew up in the beautiful island of Jamaica with her parents and older brother. She attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada and graduated with a degree in Psychology. She initially intended to go to medical school in Canada, but the harsh winters drove her back to sunny Jamaica where she graduated from the University of the West Indies Medical School. Her love for children and wish to broaden her professional exposure led her to complete a Pediatric residency program at West Virginia University in 2005.
She subsequently worked in Primary Care Pediatrics in Kingston, Jamaica and Albuquerque, New Mexico for a few years before moving to Cincinnati with her husband and two young sons in 2009. This was the year that she joined Anderson Hills Pediatrics. Dr. Lawrence-Hylton is board-certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, walking and being active in her church. She hopes to take part in annual medical mission trips to underserved communities in the not too distant future.
