Hilda Lyons is a board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and registered nurse (RN) at Anderson Hills Pediatrics, where she provides expert breastfeeding and lactation support to families. With a deep passion for helping parents navigate their feeding journeys, she combines her clinical expertise with warmth and understanding to ensure every family feels supported, heard, and empowered.
“Family is my top priority, and lactation is not just my profession but my genuine passion. Over my nursing career, I’ve discovered a profound love for educating, supporting, and guiding moms and parents, both new and experienced, as they embark on their unique lactation journeys. I know firsthand that the road to feeding your baby, whether at the breast or with a pump, can be filled with challenges, but it’s those moments of success and triumph that resonate with me the most.”
Hilda recognizes that every parent’s feeding journey is different, and she is committed to providing personalized, non-judgmental support that aligns with each family’s goals—whether that means exclusive breastfeeding, supplementing, pumping, or weaning. She provides compassionate, evidence-based guidance for parents facing latch difficulties, low milk supply, oversupply, nipple pain, engorgement, pumping challenges, tongue and lip ties, bottle-feeding, and more.
She frequently supports parents with common questions such as:
- How do I know if my baby is getting enough milk?
- What should I do if breastfeeding is painful?
- How can I increase my milk supply naturally?
- What are the signs of a tongue or lip tie?
- How do I balance breastfeeding and pumping?
- How do I introduce a bottle without affecting breastfeeding?
- How can I return to work while continuing to breastfeed?
- What are the best ways to wean when the time is right?
In addition to providing one-on-one lactation support, Hilda also specializes in prenatal breastfeeding education, helping expectant parents feel prepared and confident before their baby arrives. She understands that breastfeeding is a learning experience for both baby and parent, and her goal is to empower families with the knowledge and confidence they need to overcome challenges and achieve their feeding goals.
For Hilda, there is nothing more rewarding than helping parents reach those moments of success—whether it’s a pain-free latch, an increase in milk supply, or the simple joy of bonding with their baby during a feeding session. She is honored to be part of each family’s journey and looks forward to supporting them every step of the way.
